Job description

RHEA Canada is looking for a new Program Coordinator in Winnipeg, to supervise our regional service delivery team.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the incumbent will act as the first-point-of-contact for on-site teams as well as a liaison with local clients. The role requires consistent on-site attendance, with routine travel involved across our service region.

About the client and location

Working as part of the RHEA Canada team, you will be working alongside Government of Canada personnel in high-security environments. As such, a security clearance will be required.

Tasks and Activities

The scope of work will include:

  • Supervising the implementation of technical security systems involving multiple technologies such as (but not limited to): CCTV and video surveillance systems, electronic access control systems, complex communications systems (radio, intercom, etc.), x-ray machines, alarm systems, etc.
  • Reviewing a broad scope of technical deliverables.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and/or blueprints (and suggesting improvements, as appropriate).
  • Managing a team of technicians across the service region.
  • Monitoring work package activities and reporting to senior management, as required.
  • Developing training material, technical drawings, and technical manuals.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience

The following education and credentials are mandatory:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field is mandatory.

The following skills and experience are mandatory:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a security system technician or integrator.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in management, managing a small-to-medium-sized team.
  • Must qualify for a Government of Canada security clearance.
  • Must be professionally fluent in English.

Working Conditions
  • Hours: This is a full-time, permanent role covering a 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday (daytime), with opportunities for overtime.
  • Location: This is onsite, at our location near Winnipeg, MB. Access to reliable transportation is required. Additional regional travel may be required.
  • Compensation: $62,000 – $72,000 annually, plus benefits & 3 weeks’ vacation.
