Job summary

Fraser Health Authority in British Columbia seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) to take a Program Coordinator role in Chilliwack. You will lead clinical teams and oversee service delivery for Older Adult Mental Health & Substance Use services, blending clinical expertise with operational leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing with four years' recent clinical experience in mental health/psychiatry/substance use and two years supervisory experience.
Current practicing RN or RPN registration with BCCNM.
Valid BC drivers license and access to a vehicle for business use.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise care in the designated service area and provide guidance to program staff and students.
Set clinical priorities, assign work, ensure resources are available, and foster a positive team environment.
Participate in recruitment, interviewing and staff orientations, and supervise performance evaluations.
Provide clinical expertise and leadership in evidence-based practice and liaise with interprofessional teams.
Ensure efficient patient flow, monitor service utilization, and support quality improvement and budgeting processes.
