Job summary

Fraser Health is seeking a Program Coordinator who will oversee and coordinate high-quality mental health and substance use services. You will plan, implement, and evaluate care delivery in a designated service area, acting as a senior clinician for case consultation and coordinating interprofessional team activities.

The role involves supervising staff, maintaining standards, and contributing to policy development while collaborating with community partners to optimize resources and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and four years of recent clinical experience in mental health/psychiatry/substance use disorders as per the assigned clinical area.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience or equivalent combined education/training/experience.
• Current practicing registration with BCCNM as RN and/or RPN.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise care in the designated service area and provide information and guidance to program staff and students.
• Establish clinical priorities, allocate resources, and promote a positive team environment.
• Participate in staff recruitment, interviewing, orientation, and clinical practice education.
• Assess and evaluate staff performance, provide coaching, and ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
• Provide clinical expert consultation and leadership in evidence-based practice to staff and clients.
• Ensure efficient patient flow and service utilization.
• Develop and implement quality improvement processes and participate in audits and reviews.
