The Department of Family Medicine specializes in training comprehensive family physicians and future leaders in family medicine. This is done through a highly adaptable program that includes tailor-made curriculum and educational programs for residents.
The Program Coordinator (Undergraduate) coordinates and supports many aspects of the Undergraduate Program in the Department of Family Medicine, ensuring adherence to program standards. The role will provide a point of contact for inquiries and will provide information to current and prospective students regarding application and admission processes, orientation, program eligibility, program progression, course selection, examinations and graduation requirements. The Program Coordinator will act as a resource for faculty members, current and prospective students, providing guidance in response to inquiries and referrals to other individuals or resources as required. The role coordinates recruitment logistics and processes to recruit medical students into the postgraduate program, which is crucial to the Department maintaining a large percentage of medical students; coordinates logistics for large special events, course evaluation processes and examinations; and maintains and updates program websites.
