Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) is seeking a Program Assistant II, General based in York, ON. The role reports to the Supervisor, Hearing Healthcare Client Accounts and provides reception, administrative and program support across the region, including occasional coverage of GTA locations.

Job Description

Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) has an opening for a Program Assistant II, General, based in York. Reporting to the Supervisor, Hearing Healthcare Client Accounts, the Program Assistant II, General is responsible for assisting the region by providing reception, administrative, and program support. The incumbent will provide information in response to public inquiries for all programs and cover other neighboring locations with GTA when required by your manager.

This is a permanent, full-time onsite position working Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary diploma in Office or Business Administration, along with 2-3 years’ related experience, preferably in a Hearing Healthcare setting and/or medical office. Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite, Internet, and database applications, as well as intermediate accounting skills, is required as well.

We are also looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. A sense of urgency is required, as well as the ability to handle a pressurized environment and manage a varied workload with competing priorities and deadlines.
