The Clinical Care Program is seeking a part-time, permanent Program Assistant for the Crisis Critical Care TX U5 (formerly EPU). Reporting to the Manager, you will help organize and support the unit's operations, assist in client assessments, support direct client care, and ensure safety and security within the unit. This role involves shift rotation, including weekends, and is based at 1051 Queen Street West with 12-hour shifts.
The ideal candidate will have a Secondary School diploma or equivalent, 6 months to 1 year of relevant healthcare experience, and possibly a Personal Care Worker Certificate or ongoing education in a health care discipline. CPR certification is an asset. You should have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and sensitivity to diverse client backgrounds. Bilingualism in French/English or additional languages is also considered an asset.
All applicants must complete a Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check, with employment conditional upon its satisfactory completion.
