The Program Analyst role is a full-time 12-month contract covering a maternity leave, with the possibility of extension. It is preferably a hybrid position located in Mississauga, Ontario, but could also be remote. Reporting directly to the Director of International Programs, the Program Analyst provides monitoring and evaluation support, training, and guidance to ERDO program partners, and maintains and continually improves ERDO’s monitoring and evaluation and information management systems. The Program Analyst may also provide technical or thematic expertise for the program team, supporting, training, and guiding ERDO program partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning
- Lead program monitoring and evaluation, data collection, best practices identification, and dissemination of knowledge among staff, partners, and donors.
- Work with partners to identify baseline data and develop monitoring tools capturing quantitative and qualitative data.
- Train partners in monitoring and evaluation, logical frameworks, data management, and results-based management.
- Create and support surveys, indicators, tools, and manuals for monitoring and evaluation.
- Contribute to proposals and reports, including CFGB and GAC submissions.
- Manage data collection platforms like Kobo and organizational archives.
- Oversee ERDO’s information management systems, including Smartsheet, ensuring updates and training.
- Provide program information for reports, communications, and donor updates.
Program Quality and Innovations- Create and update program documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Track progress against the annual business plan.
Program Management for Small-scale and Thematic Projects- Maintain relationships with partners, providing technical assistance and reviewing proposals and reports.
Professional Development and Networking- Enhance knowledge of monitoring and evaluation techniques, tools, and sector trends.
- Attend workshops and follow-up on learning resources.
