What are your contributions to the team?

This role involves managing program governance, facility optimization, and the Methods organization. It requires strong communication skills across all organizational levels and the ability to translate complex business issues into practical models and actionable data. The role includes working closely with unionized Methods Analysts on technical, scheduling, and financial aspects of projects.

The successful candidate will be trained on cross-functional responsibilities and collective agreement compliance with unionized staff.

  • Lead strategic initiatives related to structural engineering, factory design, and facility management.
  • Manage governance of budgets, communication, projects, KPIs, and presentations.
  • Develop business cases for budgets, schedules, and project directives.
  • Design initial and revised factory layouts.
  • Utilize input from unionized employees for sourcing decisions.
  • Oversee site and program-level budgets.
  • Address operational issues based on technical input from staff.
  • Optimize plant infrastructure and facility operations.
  • Prepare governance reports for senior management.
  • Monitor process improvements and operational metrics.
  • Coordinate manufacturing schedules for first articles.
How to thrive in this role?
  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline.
  • Over 3 years of experience, preferably in strategy within manufacturing or consultancy; aerospace experience is a plus.
  • Ability to translate complex problems into models.
  • Strategic mindset with analytical skills.
  • Motivated, proactive, and adaptable to change.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
