Job summary

AlayaCare, based in the Greater Montreal Area, is seeking a Professional Services Consultant to drive delivery of implementations and projects across the AlayaCare Platform and Home Care domain.

You will lead discovery, advise customers, and collaborate with account managers while working in a hybrid in-office model in Montreal. Travel and occasional weekend work are expected. Strong stakeholder management and data-driven recommendations are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software or business process consulting and/or home health care.
• 2+ years of experience leading complex engagements with cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communications in both English and French.
• Deep expertise in the AlayaCare platform and/or relevant functional areas.
• The ability to communicate effectively with customer leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead Discovery phase: requirements gathering, workflow design, configuration, reports, testing, and user training.
• Serve as trusted advisor to customers, supporting issues and coordinating with the project manager when needed.
• Partner with Account Managers to ensure smooth transitions after stabilization.
• Contribute to repeatable professional services offerings and packages.
• Deliver data-driven consulting recommendations based on industry best practices.
• Execute defined professional services engagements.
• Identify new professional services opportunities with existing customers and define/pitch them.
• Support Implementation Specialists in learning the product and market, and delivering quality engagements.
• Provide input into new professional services offerings.
• Provide ongoing coaching to Implementation Specialists and document feedback.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal processes and procedures.
• Travel will be required; occasional weekend work.

About the Role

Reporting to the Associate Director of Professional Services, the Professional Services Consultant plays a critical, customer-facing and internal role in enabling the growth of a best-in-class professional services organization. This role is responsible for the successful delivery and execution of professional services-led implementations and projects. Leading both customer and internal stakeholders, you'll bring subject matter expertise in specific functional areas (AlayaCare Platform, Home Care industry) that drives value into project deliverables. You'll manage complex components of engagements, working closely with customers to understand pain points and achieve positive outcomes, and you'll own the quality of project delivery and the reporting of customer outcomes. This is an individual contributor role that gains seniority through ongoing specialization.

What You'll Do

• Lead teams through the Discovery phase, including project requirements gathering, workflow design, configuration, reports, testing, and user training

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, supporting customer issues as they arise and looping in the project manager when issues may impact project scope, timeline, or budget

• Partner with Account Managers to ensure a smooth transition for customers out of the stabilization stage of their customer journey

• Contribute to the development of repeatable professional services offerings and packages

• Deliver data-driven consulting recommendations based on industry and segment best practices

• Execute on defined professional services engagements

• Identify new Professional Services opportunities with existing customers, engaging with Account Managers to define and pitch those opportunities

• Support Implementation Specialists in learning the product and market, and in delivering quality engagements

• Provide input into the development of new professional services offerings

• Provide ongoing coaching to Implementation Specialists on your projects, including documenting feedback useful to their manager

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of, and compliance with, internal processes and procedures

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

• Travel will be required

• Occasional work on the weekend is required

What You Bring to the Team

• 4+ years of experience in software or business process consulting and/or home health care

• 2+ years of experience leading complex internal/external engagements, including functional and cross-functional teams

• Exceptional written and verbal communications in both English and French

• A passion for understanding customers' business goals and challenges

• The ability to effectively communicate with customer leadership

• The ability to recognize and articulate complex problems related to a project

• Deep expertise in the AlayaCare platform and/or relevant functional areas

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including experience successfully delivering presentations and managing meetings

• The ability to handle various projects simultaneously, adapting quickly and easily while managing competing priorities

• A strong willingness to take initiative, work autonomously, and manage time effectively to meet pressing deadlines

Location and Work Model
