Responsibilities include:

• Supporting Engineering and Operations organizations
• Performing stress analyses of Static Strength, Fatigue/Durability, Damage Tolerance, and Finite Element Models (FEM) for metallic and composite structures
• Participating in Material Review Board (MRB) duties in support of Operations activities
• Contributing to Engineering development work as required
• Collaborating with Engineering functions (Liaison, Design, Materials & Processes, Weights, Project, Systems, Program) and Operations (Methods, Quality, Production)

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant aerospace industry experience (preferably with an OEM)
• Material Review Board (MRB) and Airframe Repair experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of Aircraft structural substantiation analysis: Static, Fatigue/Durability, Damage Tolerance
• Experience with Patran/Nastran, Nasgro, and Catia V5
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Initiative, responsibility, and good engineering judgment
• Flexibility to work weekends if necessary
• Bilingual in English and French is an asset
