In your role, you will:
Analyze composite & hybrid structures for static strength according to validated methods.
Ensure adherence to airworthiness regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capabilities guidelines.
Define, interpret and validate tests.
Interface and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
Provide relevant input to design for the creation of drawings for manufacture and support to other functions (i.e. production, customer support) as needed.
Provide stress analysis for the repair/acceptance of damaged structures.
Perform monitoring/guidance/support of Sub-contracting firms providing structure analysis work.
As our ideal candidate,
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
You have a minimum of seven (7) years in stress analyses pertaining to composite and metallic components
Experience on A220 Structures is an asset
Knowledge of NASTRAN, PATRAN, CATIA V5, and MS Office is required
Knowledge of the Google Suite is an asset
Previous work on an aircraft development or in-service programs including certification is an asset
You ideally have delegation experience in a Design Aircraft Organization
You possess a strong sense of responsibility and integrity, you are self-motivated and team player.
You have good oral/written communication skills
Oral/written communication skills and computer skills are essential.

Dans votre rôle, vous devrez :
Analyser les structures composites et hybrides en termes de résistance statique conformément aux méthodes validées.
Assurer le respect des réglementations de navigabilité, des principes, processus et méthodes de conception applicables et des principes directeurs des capacités de fabrication.
Définir, interpréter et valider les essais.
Assurer l'interface et la communication avec les parties prenantes concernées.
Fournir les informations pertinentes au Bureau d'Études pour l'élaboration des plans de fabrication et soutenir les autres fonctions (production, support client...) selon les besoins.
Fournir une analyse calcul concernant la réparation/acceptation des structures endommagées.
Assurer le suivi, l'orientation et le soutien des entreprises sous-traitantes fournissant des travaux d'analyse structurelle.
En tant que candidat idéal,
Vous êtes titulaire d'un Baccalauréat en Ingénierie Mécanique ou Aéronautique
Vous possédez au moins sept (7) ans d’expérience avec les techniques d’analyse de de contraintes de structure composite et métalliques
Une expérience sur les structures de l’A220 est un atout
La connaissance de logiciels tels que NASTRAN, PATRAN, CATIA V5 et MS Office est obligatoire
La connaissance de Google Suite est un atout
Une expérience antérieure de travail sur un programme de développement ou de support en service d'un avion, y compris de certification serait un atout.
Une expérience de délégué au sein d’une organisation d’approbation (DAO) serait un atout.
Vous avez un sens aigu des responsabilités, avez de l’intégrité et êtes un joueur d’équipe
Vous avez de bonnes habilités en communication
