The role involves:

  • Performing stress analyses of Static Strength, Fatigue/Durability, Damage Tolerance, and Finite Element Model (FEM) for metallic and composite structures;
  • Preparing official stress reports in English for certification purposes;
  • Reviewing engineering drawings and participating actively in new design;
  • Performing Material Review Board (MRB) duties in support of Operations activities;
  • Supporting various Aircraft development projects and initiatives;
  • Collaborating closely with Engineering/PMP functions and Operations teams;
Ideal Candidate:
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • Has 5 to 10 years of relevant aerospace industry experience, preferably with an OEM.
  • Possesses Material Review Board (MRB) experience (preferred).
  • Has knowledge of Aircraft structural substantiation analysis: Static, Fatigue/Durability, and Damage Tolerance.
  • Experience with Patran/Nastran, Nasgro, and Catia V5.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, responsible attitude in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Flexible to work day, evening, or weekend shifts if necessary.
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
