Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Production Worker in Surrey, BC, to rotate through multiple tasks and operate up to 20 different machines. You will work in either the plastic or steel area, performing deburring, moving products, and boxing production. Machines are set up by the Charge Hand and operated with foot pedals.

The role involves repetitive tasks (20–200 repetitions per order), with a second shift from 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM, and a fully onsite work environment in Surrey, BC.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment (metal/plastic/woodworking).
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to maintain accurate counts of parts for shipment.
• Self-motivation and initiative in repetitive tasks.
• Capability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to weld, crimp, and cut metal.
• Sand edges of metal tubes using a belt sander.
• Move parts from the welding station to prepare for shipment.
• Assist welders and move parts around the floor.
• Use power tools to clean machined parts.
• Count products accurately.
• Pull and stack small plastic pieces for assembly and shipment.

Job Description

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.42 - $22.42/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
