Job summary

Orion Steel Group in Edmonton is seeking a Production Worker to operate saw, yard, or paint line equipment, monitor processes, and load/unload materials for finished products.

You will follow quality procedures, assist with water treatment compliance, and help maintain safe, efficient operations. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 lbs, bending and twisting, plus routine maintenance and forklift tasks.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent education.
  • Experience operating equipment and being mechanically inclined.
  • Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Operate saw, yard or paint line equipment to load and finish products.
  • Follow quality system procedures and policies.
  • Ensure proper water treatment discharge complies with regulations.
  • Coordinate and lead the operation’s workforce to maintain safety and quality.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment.
