Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is essential.
  • Ability to work closely with others in a production flow environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly and sub-assembly work in a production environment.
  • Utilize equipment such as brick saws and insulation cutters.
  • Participate in the product warranty/replacement parts process.

Skills

Job Summary

Location: Delta, B.C

In this dynamic, fast-paced environment, the Production Worker is responsible for participating in a variety of the tasks and activities required to create high quality and reliable fireplace products. Ideal candidates will possess experience working with hand tools or working in a manufacturing/assembly environment.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Performing Assembly and/or Sub-Assembly work in a production environment
  • Performing finishing work, painting, and/or grinding
  • Packaging products
  • Utilizing equipment such brick saws and insulation cutters
  • Making Pallets
  • Performing spot welding
  • Participating in the product warranty/replacement parts process
  • Performing general labour

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally)
  • Ability to work closely with others in a production flow environment

Education/Training

  • Valid forklift ticket is an asset

Experience

  • Manufacturing/Assembly experience
  • Experience with hand tools
  • Painting experience
  • Grinding experience

  • We offer competitive hourly wages as you gain seniority, with hourly rates starting at $23.81 per hour with guaranteed increases to $24.67 after the first 1,000 hours worked and a further increase to $26.70 after the first 2000 hours worked.
