Job summary

Lassonde, a long-standing food company in Canada, is hiring a Production Worker for its Clarksburg, Ontario facility. This full-time permanent role reports to the Production Manager and involves operating production equipment during night shifts, with day-shift training.

The position offers a team-oriented environment with opportunities for development and career growth, and requires 1–3 years in production, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in production operations, preferably in food/beverage.
• Experience in food manufacturing is an asset.

Golden Town Apples is apple juice production facility that is located in the beautiful Georgian Bay area near Clarksburg Ontario.

The Production Worker position will be responsible for operating the production equipment during production. We are currently seeking applicants for a fulltime temporary position reporting directly to the Production Manager. The position may lead to full time employment.

Key activities

• Operate machinery with attention to Health and Safety requirements.

Required Training And Experience

• Minimum 1 to 3 years’ experience in a production operation, preferably in a food or beverage setting
• Previous experience in food manufacturing environment is an asset
• Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act as it relates to operating equipment

Skills sought

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast paced production environment.
• Some physical effort requires lifting, pushing, pulling (as per health & safety guidelines) on a regular basis and significant walking, bending and standing.
• Physical effort requires a high degree of manual dexterity, hand eye coordination for operation of equipment.
