Job summary

Lassonde, a leading North American producer of quality juice products, is seeking a Production Worker for its Ontario facility. The role reports to the Production Manager and is a full-time temporary position with potential to become permanent.

You will operate production equipment during shifts, adhering to safety standards and quality practices. The successful candidate has 1–3 years in production, understands OHSA guidelines, and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in production operations, preferably in food/beverage.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act as it relates to operating equipment.

Golden Town Apples is apple juice production facility that is located in the beautiful Georgian Bay area near Clarksburg Ontario.

The Production Worker position will be responsible for operating the production equipment during production. We are currently seeking applicants for a fulltime temporary position reporting directly to the Production Manager. The position may lead to full time employment.

Key activities

• Operate machinery with attention to Health and Safety requirements.

Required training and experience

• Minimum 1 to 3 years’ experience in a production operation, preferably in a food or beverage setting
• Previous experience in food manufacturing environment is an asset
• Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act as it relates to operating equipment

Skills sought

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast paced production environment.
• Some physical effort requires lifting, pushing, pulling (as per health & safety guidelines) on a regular basis and significant walking, bending and standing.
• Physical effort requires a high degree of manual dexterity, hand eye coordination for operation of equipment.
