Job summary

Bourgault Industries is seeking a Production Welder to join our team in St. Brieux, SK. The successful candidate will weld quality components that conform to engineering specifications as well as production and quality requirements.

The role requires 1–2 years MIG welding experience, the ability to read blueprints, and strong communication and attention to detail. Starting wage is CAD 25.00–33.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Use work orders and procedures to complete weldments to quality standards.
• Read drawings to assemble parts in fixtures.
• Produce welds in all positions using provided tooling.
• Follow supervisor instructions for prep, tacking, and welding tasks.
• Use power tools as required to complete tasks.
• Detect defects in parts and welds and ensure quality.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and in good working order.

Job description

Bourgault Industries is looking for a Production Welder to join our team in St. Brieux, SK. Our ideal candidate is motivated, attentive to detail and willing to learn! The purpose of this role is to weld quality components that conform to engineering specifications as well as production and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Use existing work orders, work instructions, and department procedures to complete weldments to an approved quality standard
• Read drawings to assemble parts in a fixture
• Produce welds in all positions and using tooling provided to produce high quality weldments
• Follow the instructions of the supervisor to complete given tasks in preparation, tacking, and welding
• Use other hand power tools such as angle grinders, drills, die grinders, and oxy acetylene torch as required to complete tasks
• Detect minor defects in the parts being used or the completed component as well as minor defects in weld quality
• Ensure that equipment being used on regularly is in good working order

Starting Wage
