Job summary

Imperial Brady Canada is seeking a Warehouse Specialist, Forklift Operator in Edmonton to join our Distribution department. The role involves picking, shipping and stocking, with a night shift from 6:00pm to 2:30am. You will work as part of a team to ensure accurate loading and safe handling of inventory.

Responsibilities include selecting orders, receiving inventory, reporting discrepancies, and maintaining housekeeping. Prior experience with MHE and English communication are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Previous or current experience with the Raymond or Crown reach required.
• Previous warehousing experience required Certified to operate all MHE (Material Handling Equipment).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Computer literate and knowledge of WMS systems an asset.
• Good communication skills required (able to read, write and speak English).
• Self-motivated, dependable and reliable.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
• Good decision-making skills and ability to work independently.
• Secondary School Graduate or related experience.

Working/Other Conditions:

• Working onsite in a dry climate-controlled warehouse environment.
• Required to wear personal protective equipment – company supplied.
• Minimal to moderate exposure to hazardous conditions, noise, and vibrations conducive to a warehouse environment.
• Repetitive physical activities including but not limited to lifting, bending, pushing and pulling weights up to 23 kg (50lbs) for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to operate Stand-up Material Handling Equipment as required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work extended hours, which may be required from time to time.
