As the final quality checkpoint in manufacturing, the role ensures PCBs and assemblies meet required standards through hands‑on troubleshooting and automated testing, with day shift hours in Toronto, Ontario.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in electrical/electronic testing preferred.
• Familiarity with measuring tools and test equipment desired.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

PFC Flexible Circuits Limited, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking a Production Test Technician who will perform electronic and electro‑mechanical assembly and testing of complex units using established processes and equipment. As the final quality checkpoint in manufacturing, the ideal candidate will ensure PCBs and assemblies meet required standards through hands‑on troubleshooting and automated testing in accordance with assembly process travelers and assembly process specification sheets.

This individual will support day shift operations (7:30am - 4:00pm).

Responsibilities

• Operate various test equipment and tools to perform electrical and/or functional testing on company products in accordance with test procedures and work instructions.
• Determine if product passes all test requirements and set parts aside for verification as indicated by test equipment.
• Perform verification on parts using various equipment (multimeter, scope etc.) to ensure they meet customer electrical requirements.
• Collect and maintain test data to fill corresponding sections in production documentation and electrical test certificate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma desired.
• Experience related to electrical/electronic testing experience desired.
• Familiarity with measuring tools (e.g., optical measurement microscope, calipers, pin gage, microscope reticle, digital multi-meter) and test tools (e.g. High voltage power supply, Multimeters) desired.
• Knowledge of basic electronic theory, testing techniques and testing equipment desired.
• Must have excellent attention to detail and ability to perform highly repetitive tasks.
• Ability to perform data collection and keep accurate records consistently required.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings desired.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work required.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in the business language (English).
• Flexibility when it comes to working hours required.
  
  

Pay may range from $17.60 to $17.60 hourly
