Kedrion Biopharma Canada is seeking a Production Technician in Laval to support the manufacture of plasma-derived therapies. The role involves weighing raw materials, performing routine plasma handling, and executing purification steps.

You will maintain GMP-compliant documentation and adhere to aseptic gowning requirements to ensure product integrity. The position is full-time and permanent with a casual work environment, offering competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French and English, with ability to communicate in a regulated facility.
• Strong mathematical abilities for formulation, measurement and reconciliation.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably GMP.
• Collaborative team player who contributes to a larger project.

More Specifically, You Will Be Responsible For

• Weigh raw materials and prepare buffer solutions.
• Perform routine plasma handling and checks.
• Perform plasma protein separation and purification steps using various technologies.
• Complete documentation related to good manufacturing practices.
• Disinfect equipment entering the manufacturing area.

You are the right person for this role because you have:

• A DES or other training in a relevant field, combined with 3 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, chemical, or food industry, or a DEC or AEC in pharmaceutical science or technology.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, ideally GMP.
• Good knowledge of French and English.
• Strong math skills.
• You are comfortable working with plasma, which requires wearing a complete aseptic gowning suit;
• You are a team player who enjoys learning and wants to contribute to a project that is bigger than yourself.
