Kedrion Biopharma Canada is seeking a Quality Control Analyst (Microbiology) for the night shift in Laval. You will perform microbiological analyses on products and environmental samples, document results, and help ensure adherence to GMP/ISO standards.

• Document all results and participate in drafting/revision of documents.
• Ensure the availability of equipment required for sampling and testing.
• Maintain GMP/ISO-compliant records and traceability.

More specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Performing microbiological analyses on products and environmental samples in our laboratory;
• Completing sample analyses related to products and the production environment; membrane filtration, bacterial endotoxins, pathogen detection, total protein determination, environmental controls, etc. ;
• Completing documentation of all results;
• Participating in the drafting and revision of documents;
• Ensuring the availability of equipment required for sampling and testing

You are the right person for this role if you have :

• A bachelor’s degree in microbiology or related discipline;
• A minimum of two (2) years in a similar role;

You are available to work night shifts and appreciate the autonomy that this schedule offers.

• You are at ease in an environment where quality and traceability are at the heart of the way things are done (GMP, ISO, etc.);
• You are familiar with microbiology analysis techniques;
• You can read, write and express yourself in both English and French;
• You are comfortable entering data and making simple formulas in Excel

Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and suppliers in Quebec as necessary.

Another language is required for this position in order to communicate with partners and colleagues, who are predominantly located outside Quebecand to understand the technical and scientific documentation used in our industry.
