Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Canada is seeking a Production Technician for the evening shift in Laval. You will weigh raw materials, prepare buffers, and perform routine plasma handling, separation, and purification steps as part of a GMP-regulated manufacturing process.

The role requires DES/DEC-equivalent training with 3 years in biopharma or related fields, and fluency in French and English to communicate with teams and suppliers in Quebec. Aseptic gowning and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• DES or equivalent training with 3+ years in biopharmaceutical/pharma/chemical/food industry
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment; GMP preferred
• Fluent in French and English; able to communicate with colleagues and suppliers in Quebec

More specifically, you will be responsible for :

• Weigh raw materials and prepare buffer solutions.
• Perform routine plasma handling and checks.
• Perform plasma protein separation and purification steps using various technologies.
• Complete documentation related to good manufacturing practices.
• Disinfect equipment entering the manufacturing area.

You are the right person for this role because you have:

• A DES or other training in a relevant field, combined with 3 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, chemical, or food industry, or a DEC or AEC in pharmaceutical science or technology.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, ideally GMP.
• Good knowledge of French and English.
• You are comfortable working with plasma, which requires wearing a complete aseptic gowning suit;
• You are a team player who enjoys learning and wants to contribute to a project that is bigger than yourself.

Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and suppliers in Quebec as necessary.

Another language is required for this position in order to communicate with partners and colleagues, who are predominantly located outside Quebecand to understand the technical and scientific documentation used in our industry.
