Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a Production Technician for our Edmonton shop. You will fabricate and package corrosion protection products, operate forklifts, and move materials across the floor.

This hands‑on role emphasizes precision, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 2+ years in manufacturing or warehouse settings, plus experience with power tools and production equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet.
• Experience with power tools and production equipment.
• Forklift certification or welding/soldering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and package high-grade corrosion protection products with precision and quality.
• Master warehouse operations by maintaining a safe, organized production facility.
• Orchestrate inventory flow by efficiently managing picking, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Drive safety standards by upholding Health and Safety guidelines.
• Maintain core equipment by inspecting, servicing, and repairing machinery and shop tools.
• Lead dock operations by loading/unloading truck shipments and operating forklifts.
• Adapt and support the broader operational team for shop tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build and package high-grade corrosion protection products with precision and quality at the forefront.
• Master warehouse operations by maintaining a safe, organized, and smooth-running production facility.
• Orchestrate inventory flow by efficiently managing picking, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Drive safety standards by proactively upholding and enforcing all workplace Health and Safety guidelines.
• Maintain core equipment by inspecting, servicing, and repairing specific machinery and shop tools for optimal performance.
• Lead dock operations by safely loading and unloading truck shipments and operating forklifts as needed.
• Adapt and support the broader operational team by stepping up for dynamic shop tasks as they arise.

Qualifications

• You bring a high school diploma (or equivalent) alongside 2+ years of solid experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
• You confidently operate standard power tools (drills, saws) and specialized production equipment.
• You are physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs regularly, working actively on your feet throughout a shift, and comfortably wearing a respirator when required.
• You possess strong verbal communication skills and thrive in an active, collaborative team environment.
• You take pride in precision, catch the small details, and pick up new technical processes quickly.
• Bonus Qualifications : Holding a valid forklift operator certification, welding experience, or soldering skills is a huge asset!
