As an Chassis prep - Mechanical , you will be able to:
Follow the work order to install all assembly component pieces, including electrical components such as console hook-ups, ECC hook-ups, suction units, exhaust fan inverters, oxygen systems, battery hook-ups, and air conditioning discharge systems
Perform a general quality control check to ensure that all specifications and quality standards are met
Perform electrical installation and hook-up of pre-build components in accordance with work orders and schematics
Connect main and auxiliary harnesses to the Electrical Control Center (ECC), ensuring proper routing and secure connections
Conduct visual inspections and basic functional checks to confirm electrical and assembly quality standards are met
Collaborate with adjacent departments to support proper installation sequencing and workflow
Experience and ability using hand and power tools
Electrical knowledge related to circuits and relays
Knowledge of 12V and 110V electrical systems and test equipment
Able to read and understand a tape measure to 1/32” tolerance
Able to read and interpret drawings and schematics
Understand the production process in terms of quality and quantity
Understand quality measurements to adhere to ISO requirements
Conscious of and adhere to safe work practices
