Job summary

Tilray Brands, Inc. is seeking a Production Team Member to operate and support the production line for Fresh Hemp Foods Ltd. You will manage equipment, sanitation, quality checks, and documentation to ensure products meet standards.

The role requires at least 1 year in manufacturing, mechanical aptitude, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Safety policies and SOPs guide daily duties in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in processing and machine operation or food sanitation experience.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Knowledge PLC controlled equipment and asset.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and attend to manual and automated equipment in the production process operation.
• Disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble equipment for sanitation.
• Ensure materials and supplies are staged prior to the shift.
• Keep work area clean and perform general housekeeping.
• Perform product quality checks per procedures.
• Perform minor or daily equipment maintenance.
• Maintain documentation of tasks performed.
• Follow SOPs while operating equipment.
• Review production process to identify defects and rectify them.
• Ensure final product meets quality standards.
• Comply with Safety and Food Quality policies.

Position Reports To: Production Supervisor

SCOPE:

The Production Team Member will be responsible for working on the production line of Fresh Hemp Foods Ltd. This individual will be responsible for the operation of equipment for the manufacture of various products and will ensure all work performed adheres to all organizational standards as well as safety regulations and guidelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Operate and attend to manual and automated equipment in the production process operation.
• Disassembles, cleans, sanitizes and reassembles various pieces of equipment as required for sanitation process
• Ensures materials and supplies are staged prior to the beginning of the shift.
• Keeps work area clean and performs general housekeeping as required.
• Performs product quality checks as per procedures.
• Performs minor or daily equipment maintenance.
• Maintains all necessary documentation associated with tasks performed.
• Perform all functions as designated by SOPs while operating specified equipment.
• Understand and review the product through specified production process, recognizing areas of defect and taking appropriate actions to rectify them.
• Conduct all work to organizational standards to ensure final product meets quality standards.
• Complies with all Safety and Food Quality policies and procedures.
• Disassembles, cleans, sanitizes and reassembles various pieces of equipment as required for sanitation process.
• Keeps work area clean and performs general housekeeping as required.
• Other duties as assigned by the organization
