Job summary

Lamb Weston in Taber, AB is seeking a Team Leader Production to guide a 20-30 person production team and drive continuous improvement. You will manage resources and schedules, mentor staff, and champion safety, quality, and cost goals across the plant.

You will lead processes, develop leaders, and collaborate across functions to deliver strong production results and a positive, engaged workforce in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members to identify, manage, and execute plant process improvement opportunities.
• Manage production staff to attain production and quality goals.
• Identify bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues.
• Ensure resources (materials, equipment, people) are available to maintain schedules.
• Support safety, quality, cost and customer service goals.
• Oversee functions of the business and foster a team-oriented workforce.
• Train staff and develop leaders for future advancement.
• Promote World Class Safety/Wellness culture and employee development.
