Join a large team of production support analysts in Canada, the U.K., and the United States, providing world-class support 24x7 across multiple time zones to ensure the highest levels of service for Fixed Income Clients in Trading, Pricing, and Risk management systems.
The ideal candidate will bring a mix of hands-on technical and business knowledge, people leadership, project management, and communication skills, with a deep understanding of applications, architecture, and data flows. Superior Major Incident Management experience is critical.
Responsibilities include managing production environments as an escalation point, incident response, problem management, root cause analysis, and owning day-to-day operational support services to enhance production stability, reliability, and service excellence.
You will employ a data-driven approach to improve production stability through metrics and reporting, collaborating with application development teams and external vendors. Ensuring accurate incident logging, conducting Incident and Problem Review Meetings, and driving process improvements are key aspects of this role.
The role also involves providing leadership and subject matter expertise to team members, managing support priorities, and working across IT and external vendors to resolve issues efficiently.
Qualifications include extensive IT experience with strong knowledge of Capital Markets, especially Fixed Income products (FI, Cash, Derivatives), solid supervisory and team leadership skills in technology support of Capital Markets trading, and familiarity with trading activities, market data feeds, and relevant applications such as ION Trading System and Bloomberg TOMS.
Excellent communication skills, ability to manage priorities, and technical expertise in Linux, SQL, scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Java, Python), and infrastructure are required. Knowledge of enterprise scheduler platforms, monitoring tools (Control-M, Geneos ITRS, ServiceNow), and ITIL practices is also essential.
