Agropur Cooperative is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Bedford, Nova Scotia plant to lead the night shift and ensure safety, quality and productivity targets are met. You will oversee staff, enforce GMP/HACCP/SQF standards, and drive continuous improvement within the production line.

The role focuses on safety culture, employee development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in a related field or equivalent training.
• Experience supervising in food or pharmaceutical industries (1-3 years).
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and SQF.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement safety programs.
• Provide leadership, direction and coaching to the Production team, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrate strong labour relations and staff scheduling to support productivity.
• Support HACCP team to maintain SQF/HACCP status and prepare for third-party audits.
• Drive productivity and cost improvements while meeting production targets.

Job Type:RegularWe believe that teamwork—collaborating and sharing perspectives—is essential to achieving the best results.Agropur is looking for a Production Supervisor to join is Bedford team for the night shift Sunday to Friday 11:00 to 7:00.The Production Supervisor leads the production department to ensure that qualitative and quantitative measures included in the operating plan are met. Specific focus is on sanitation and quality results (HACCP and SQF), health and safety, good manufacturing practices and productivity. The incumbent participates to maintain the requirements on food safety, quality and defence.
