Job summary

Agropur seeks a Production Supervisor to coordinate daily production activities from raw materials through processing, packaging and shipping, ensuring schedules and customer requirements are met and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities from raw material reception through processing, packaging, shipping, ensuring schedules and customer requirements.
• Deliver production plans in terms of volume, quality, and cost by coordinating manufacturing processes and workforce.
• Ensure proper utilization and management of raw materials, ingredients, and cleaning products.
• Plan and manage labour requirements to meet operational needs.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production teams, fostering engagement, accountability, and collaboration.
• Maintain and enforce health and safety standards, including participation in major safety programs (lockout/tagout, machine safety, confined spaces, WHMIS).
• Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and sanitation requirements (SQF, HACCP, GMP).
• Oversee sanitation activities and ensure proper maintenance of equipment cleanliness.
• Monitor and communicate KPIs and drive performance improvement.
• Initiate, support, and lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing processes, increasing efficiency, and reducing waste.

  • Responsible for employee relations including work direction of employees, hiring, training, performance reviews, administering policies and procedures, disciplinary action, and compensation recommendations.
