Job summary

Agropur Cooperative seeks a Production Supervisor for the Woodstock team on the evening shift (2:30 pm to 11:00 pm). The role requires leadership of the production floor, safetY compliance, and coaching of staff to achieve output targets.

Responsibilities include enforcing GMP, HACCP and SQF standards, directing training, and maintaining a positive work environment while controlling labour costs and ensuring quality.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in a related field or equivalent training.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience in food or pharma industry.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and SQF.
• Experience with SAP is an asset.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and field-specific software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement safety programs.
• Oversee employee relations, including directing staff, hiring, training, performance reviews, and policies.
• Provide leadership, direction and coaching to the Production team.
• Promote positive employee relations and teamwork to improve involvement.
• Maintain product quality standards through HACCP/SQF compliance and audits.
• Support SQF/HACCP audits and ensure documentation readiness for third-party audits.
• Monitor equipment and resources to meet production targets on time.
• Assist in controlling labour costs by improving productivity and processes.
• Maintain professional relationships and effective communication across the team.
• Drive organizational change through strong people skills and problem-solving.

Agropur is looking for a Production Supervisor to join is Woodstock team for the evening shift (2:30 pm. to 11 pm.)

Salary range 004: 71 200$ to 89 000$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of health and safety regulations, and the ability to implement programs to improve safety culture.
• Responsible for employee relations including work direction of employees, hiring, training, performance reviews, administering policies and procedures, and disciplinary action.
• Provide leadership, direction and coaching to the Production team.
• Promote and enhance a positive employee relation atmosphere including efforts to continuously improve teamwork and establish high levels of employee involvement.
• Ensures consistent application of best practices towards product evaluation, food safety and quality to support and maintain Agropur’s quality standards.
• Supports the operation of the HACCP team to ensure that the facility and documentation are suitable for third party/customer audits to maintain the SQF/ HACCP status at the plant.
• Monitor and ensure efficiency of plant equipment and resources and ensure production requirements are met on time.
• Responsible for achieving department budgets in the area of labour costs by measuring and improving productivity and processes.
• Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships.
• Result driven, bottom‑line orientated, strives to exceed goals, and motivates self and others to achieve positive outcomes.
• Demonstrate ability to drive organizational change through strong interpersonal and communication skills and formal problem‑solving techniques.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in a related field or other relevant training.
• 3-5 years experience supervisory experience in food or pharma industry.
• Knowledge of quality assurance systems (GMP, HACCP and SQF).
• Knowledge of SAP (an asset).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and field‑specific software.
• Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma experience is an asset.
• Available to work on different shifts (day, evening, night, and weekend to cover vacations).
