Job summary

Thermon is seeking a Supervisor, Production to oversee the Control Panel Shop, lead electricians and assemblers, and drive safe, efficient panel production. You will work closely with Purchasing, Engineering and Planning to meet schedules, quality standards, and customer expectations.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will champion safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a Control Panel Shop or industrial electrical manufacturing environment.
• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Strong understanding of production scheduling, workflow management, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Control Panel Shop to ensure safe, efficient, and timely production of high-quality panels.
• Provide leadership to shop personnel and coordinate workflow across departments.
• Monitor production metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives including Lean and 5S.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering and Planning to align schedules and resource availability.
• Ensure documentation, work orders and quality records are maintained and compliant.
• Support overtime as required to meet business demands.
