Job summary

The Production Supervisor will oversee the production floor, quality, and safety, driving efficiency and profitability for the facility. This role requires hands-on leadership to align operations with company goals and safety standards.

Key duties include managing all operations, production, quality, and shipping to ensure on-time delivery; promoting a culture of respect, empowerment, and excellence; coordinating scheduling; implementing process improvements; and reporting daily/weekly metrics

Qualifications

• 10+ years in production/assembly environment.
• 5+ years in production management across multiple departments.
• Experience setting up new lines or departments.
• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
• Technical and mechanical background.

The Production Supervisor has responsibility for managing the operations, production floor, quality, and health & safety while maximizing profit and efficiency for the facility.

• Manages scheduling and walks the floor and keep current on the status of all functions.
• Taking corrective action to streamline and improve current processes.
• Gain a strong understanding of the production process flow for product lines.
• Troubleshoot production and maintenance issues and enact contingency plans as needed.
• Work with the management team to implement process improvements in all departments.
• Reporting daily/weekly metrics of production and shipments along with reason for variances.
• Other duties as assigned.

Abilities / Background

• 10+ years of experience in a production and assembly environment with at least 5+ years of production management experience with multiple departments.
• Experience setting up new lines or departments strongly desired
• Strong leadership, vision, organizational and communication abilities as well as technical and mechanical background
• Strong attention to planning and detail.
