Job summary

IPEX Edmonton plant is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations focused on safety, quality, productivity and cost controls. You will manage daily production, optimize labor and equipment, and coach a team across a 2-2-3 continental shift structure.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in manufacturing supervision, a lean mindset, and strong leadership with solid MS Office skills. You will help with recruitment, training, and ensuring ISO-compliant documentation."

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient with computers, including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and output targets.
• Execute production schedules by optimizing labor resources, equipment utilization, and workflow.
• Lead shift transition meetings and communicate priorities, performance expectations, and updates.
• Monitor production metrics, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Process Management, and other support teams to minimize downtime.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training activities to build a capable workforce.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Champion health, safety, and environmental programs in line with policies.
