Job description

Our client a fantastic manufacturing company with distribution throughout Canada.

Based in Victoria, BC, the Production Supervisor will report to the Operations Manager and will oversee all aspects of the manufacturing shift, day to day production.

Responsibilities :

• Plan, direct and coordinate production operations, including labor management
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with cross functional teams
• Ensure team members are coached and developed in an open and positive environment to achieve continuous professional growth
• Primary contact for site including personnel, equipment control, assets, facility improvements and production requirements
• Ensure the plant is operated in a safe and environmentally sound manner
• Oversee continuous improvement processes to reduce waste and improve productivity
• Other as required

Requirements :

• 3+ years experience working in a people supervisor role
• Supervisory or management experience in a similar environment is an asset
• Post Secondary Education in Operations Management or similar is an asset
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Strong understanding of MS Office and systems

Salary range - depends on experience at 60-75,000 plus bonus.
