Job Title: Production Supervisor

About Pratt & Whitney Canada

Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) is a global leader in the aerospace industry, headquartered in Longueuil, Quebec. We manufacture next-generation engines that power the world’s largest fleet of business, general aviation, and regional aircraft and helicopters.

For nearly 100 years, we have pioneered advancements in engine development, supporting cargo and equipment transportation, wildfire suppression, and passenger travel.

An Employer of Choice

Pratt & Whitney Canada was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 10 Employers in 2025 by Forbes and ranked #1 in the aerospace and defense industry in the country. Our headquarters is also listed among the top employers in the Montreal region. These accolades reinforce our reputation as an employer of choice in Montreal, Canada, and worldwide.

Why Join The Lethbridge Engine Center Team?

We’re looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Production Supervisor to join our team. In this critical role, you will lead daily operations to ensure the safe, high-quality, and on-time delivery of engines to our customers. You will be responsible for supervising a cross-functional team, driving continuous improvement, and promoting a positive, ethics-based workplace culture.

You will lead with integrity and influence, ensuring operational goals are met while fostering a safe, collaborative, and performance-driven environment. This position is key to aligning our frontline execution with broader strategic goals.

This role is based in Lethbridge, Alberta — a thriving community of over 100,000 people. Just two hours south of Calgary and an hour from the U.S. border, Lethbridge offers easy access to the Rocky Mountains, including world-class destinations like Banff, Jasper, and Fernie. The city is family-oriented, culturally rich, and offers an affordable lifestyle with the amenities of a larger urban center.

At our PT6 Center of Excellence, you’ll lead a team of over 25-30 employees in producing one of the world’s most successful engine families. Pratt & Whitney engines help save lives, support regional economies, and power many of the world’s passenger aircraft fleet and air forces globally. You’ll be part of a dependable, high-performing team on a mission to make a global impact — right from Southern Alberta.

This position is full-time, with flexible hours in Lethbridge, and is exclusively on-site. The selected candidate may be required to work occasional flexible hours to support our operation.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Foster an Active Caring culture focused on safety and well-being.

  • Promote and support all EH&S, CORE, Ethics, and Training programs; ensure compliance with corporate and legal standards.

  • Lead, coach, schedule, and develop production staff to ensure high engagement, flexibility, and capability.

  • Drive quality initiatives and continuous improvement to meet or exceed customer expectations and production targets.

  • Provide visible, supportive leadership on the shop floor—solve problems, remove barriers, and ensure daily commitments are achieved.

  • Communicate clear goals, expectations, and feedback to employees.

  • Lead and participate in investigations and root cause analysis for safety or quality concerns.

  • Collaborate across departments to meet shared objectives, including Plant 32 Roadmap targets.

  • Recognize high performance and coach underperformance through consistent, constructive feedback.

  • Champion change and lead by example in times of transition or uncertainty.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. A combination of relevant education and equivalent work experience may also be considered.

  • Diploma or journey person red seal in a Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Engineering-related field is an asset.

  • 5+ years of proven leadership and supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, influence others, and lead through transformation.

  • Advanced proficiency in SAP, ENOVIA, and related systems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Track record of personal development and professional achievement.

  • Recognized for reliability, initiative, and consistent performance.

  • Additional training in leadership and change management considered a strong asset.
