Job Overview

As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee plant operations, including staffing, production scheduling, inventory management, quality assurance, and safety initiatives. You will be a key member of the plant management team, responsible for building relationships with staff and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage plant operations, staffing, and scheduling.
  2. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate production forecasting.
  3. Supervise quality assurance programs and maintenance activities.
  4. Ensure health and safety compliance, including training and inspections.
  5. Collaborate with management to improve customer service and product quality.
  6. Participate in hiring, training, and staff development.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Availability for on-call evenings and weekends.
  • Experience in agriculture or food production is an asset.
