Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of production processes by effectively managing schedules and coordinating resources. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in production planning systems, and a solid understanding of supply chain dynamics.

Principal Job Duties

  • Create short to mid term production schedule for all items in scheduling systems based on total order/ demand and available capacity
  • Actively monitor impact to production schedule for material availability to fill order on time
  • Identify, devise and recommend solutions on the production line and capacity restrictions to proactively plan and eliminate bottlenecks to availability
  • Schedule production in coordination with manufacturing, maintenance, machine and tools maintenance, and/or overhaul plans
  • Act as the key contact point for customer service, manufacturing and material planners to provide solution or guidance for all queries/ conflicts
  • Continuously evaluate and adjust as necessary inventory buffers based on demand variability, desired customer service levels and process capabilities
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and provide recommended solutions
  • Generate and deliver analysis and presentations as required by management
  • Support the development of inventory strategies and plans per the company goals and objectives
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

  • Post-secondary education; ideally with a focus on Supply chain/ operations
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supply planning/ production scheduling
  • Proficient with various computer applications such as Microsoft, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
  • Able to develop reports by extracting, manipulating, and analyzing data from various sources
  • Good understanding of product routings, bill of materials structures and demand sources
  • Able to work with vast source of data to derive concise., factful and timely decision
  • Must possess the ability to work well under pressure in a team environment and relate to people in a professional and mature way. Strong work ethic is required •
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, growth environment with many competing priorities and deadline

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
