Position: Production Planner – Production Control team at Raytheon ELCAN

What You Will Do
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders while balancing capacity, materials availability, and operational priorities.
  • Create and manage work orders within the ERP system (e.g., Infor LN), ensuring accurate routing, material allocation, and production timelines.
  • Coordinate closely with Supply Chain Management, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available to support planned production.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Program Management, Engineering, and Quality to resolve scheduling conflicts, capacity constraints, and production issues.
  • Monitor production progress, update schedules as required, and communicate changes to stakeholders to maintain alignment across operations and supply chain functions.
  • Analyze demand, capacity, and material availability to balance production schedules and meet delivery commitments.
  • Develop reporting tools or dashboards to track progress and identify potential bottlenecks in production planning.

Qualifications (Must Have)
  • 3–5+ years of experience in production planning, manufacturing scheduling, or supply chain operations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Infor LN, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms for work order management and production planning.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and planning tools for schedule tracking, reporting, and production analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience creating and managing work orders, purchase requisitions, and production schedules within an ERP environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Supply Chain, procurement, operations, and engineering teams to ensure production plans are achievable and materials are available.
  • Familiarity with demand and capacity analysis to optimize production schedules.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and internal EHS policies.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies.

This position involves technologies regulated by the Canadian government’s Controlled Goods Program and the Contract Security Program. Candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada, have resided in Canada for a minimum of five consecutive years, and meet all other program requirements.
