Job summary

What You Will Do:
  • Responsible for purchasing materials and services to meet operational requirements
  • Maintain records and tracking for cost and schedule of all purchased items
  • Monitor inventory and plan accordingly

  • Ensure the accuracy of purchase orders

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Materials Management, Business Administration or related experience would be considered an asset.
  • Experience with supply chain and related systems, procurement, production control/material planning, receiving, cost estimating, logistics, and/or finance
  • Effective verbal and written communicator at all levels in the organization
  • Required to have strong negotiation, problem-solving & decision making skills
  • Proven experience to remain organized, and prioritize work effectively.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Work experience in Supply Chain within the Aerospace and Military Defense industry
  • Experience working in a manufacturing/engineering environment
  • Proficient knowledge of basic computer programs (Microsoft Office suite) and advanced typing abilities
  • Experience interfacing with external customers and all levels of internal organization
  • A certificate in purchasing from the Purchasing Management Association of Canada would be an asset
  • Supply Chain Certification is an asset.

This position involves technologies regulated by the Canadian government’s Controlled Goods Program and the Contract Security Program. The salary range for this role is 54,000 CAD - 93,150 CAD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. RTX offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, disability benefits, a retirement savings program, and tuition assistance through RTX’s Employee Scholar Program. Eligibility for specific benefits is based on factors such as position level, employment type (e.g., temporary or permanent), and business unit, and will be discussed during the hiring process. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
