Job summary

Saint-Gobain Napanee is hiring a Production Associate to support its manufacturing operations in Ontario. You will follow all Environmental, Health and Safety policies and keep a clean, organized work environment in line with the 5S checklist.

Responsibilities include safely operating production equipment (floor scrubber, embosser, puncher, mitre saw, regrind, combi-lifts), restocking washrooms and PPE, performing quality checks, and escalating any quality concerns to the supervisor to ensure

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Previous manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety practices.
• Proficient in extrusion processes and techniques.
• Experience with process control and optimization.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Experience with product and process validation methodologies.
• Skilled in identifying non-conformities and implementing corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Work in accordance with all EHS policies and procedures.
• Maintain facility areas according to the Production Associate 5S checklist.
• Restock washrooms and PPE dispensers when required.
• Assist in production tasks as needed and where trained.
• Safely operate production equipment (floor scrubber, embosser, puncher, mitre saw, regrind, combi-lifts).
• Ensure materials are produced to specification and escalate quality concerns to the supervisor.
