Job summary

Duha Color Services is seeking a Production Operator – Paper Coating to monitor coating application, perform quality checks, and maintain production records on a fast-paced manufacturing line.

You will work with coating equipment, participate in setup and teardown, and develop skills in equipment operation and troubleshooting in a team environment.

Production Operator – Paper Coating

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Production Operator – Paper Coating to join our manufacturing team.

This is a hands-on production role where you will monitor the application of colour to paper, perform quality checks, maintain production records, and support the setup and operation of coating equipment.

We are looking for candidates with previous machine operation, manufacturing, or production experience. Training on our specific equipment and processes will be provided.

Position Details

Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Shifts:

• Days, Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 2:45 pm
• Evenings, Monday to Friday from 2:30 pm to 10:45 pm
• Nights, Sunday to Thursday from 10:30 pm to 6:45 am

Starting Wage: $17.86+/hour
Location: St. James Industrial Area, Winnipeg, MB (near Route 90)

What You'll Do

As a Production Operator – Paper Coating, you will:

• Monitor the application of colour to paper throughout the production process.
• Perform regular quality checks to ensure products meet production requirements.
• Identify, communicate, and help address quality or production concerns.
• Accurately complete production records and paperwork.
• Assist with the setup and teardown of coating equipment as required.
• Monitor the production process and report equipment or production issues.
• Use your mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to help identify basic production issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
• Work cooperatively with team members to meet production requirements.
• Perform other production and departmental duties as required.

Education & Experience

• Previous machine operator, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred.
• Experience working with production equipment in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
• Training on our specific coating equipment and processes will be provided.
