Job summary

MDA Space is seeking an entry-level assembler/production operator to join our high-volume manufacturing team. You will work from process sheets and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines to assemble components and sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities include feeding materials, pulling finished products, performing basic validations, and supporting shipping/receiving. A team player with a high school diploma and good knowledge of French is ideal to thrive in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Capable of following basic assembly drawings and detailed instructions.
• Ability to use production databases.
• Manual dexterity and ability to use simple hand tools.
• Team player.
• Education: High school education or equivalent.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of French.

Responsibilities

With detailed instructions, performs basic manual tasks and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines to complete a variety of routine and repetitive assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Level of responsibility: Works from process sheets or detailed written/verbal instructions.
