Job summary

dsm-firmenich in Ayr, Ontario, is seeking a Production Operator to manage premix manufacturing processes, monitor equipment, and ensure compliance with cGMP and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma and basic math, with at least 6 months of related experience. Forklift experience is a plus; the company offers a comprehensive total rewards package and health benefits. Training on SAP/SCORE and LOTOTO will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform simple calculations.
• Strong reading and writing skills required.
• Good communication skills in a team environment.
• Proficient with computers/terminals/scanners. Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle raw materials and weigh ingredients for production.
• Operate Control Room and prepare batch sheets in SAP/SCORE where applicable.
• Monitor equipment and record process conditions and actions as required.
• Take samples according to SOPs and ensure product quality.
• Print and apply labels using the Enlabel system and ensure proper packaging.
• Maintain good housekeeping and comply with cGMP, ISO 9001:2000, and SHE standards.
• Follow LOTOTO and safety training, and report issues to supervisor.
• Assist in investigating asset utilization and process improvements.
