Job summary

This 3-month contract role runs 6 AM to 2 PM in Alberta. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs, and the ability to work in varied environments while following all safety rules. Forklift experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks.
• Good manual dexterity and coordination.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Work in compliance with all company rules and regulations.
• Follow Health & Safety policies and SOPs.
• Wear PPE and work safely.
• Complete required training in good faith.
• Capable of working in varied environments (indoor/outdoor).
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain good housekeeping in assigned areas.
• Report safety issues immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Employment details

Responsibilities

• Work in compliance with all company rules and regulations
• Follow all company Health & Safety policies and SOPs
• Wear all PPE required and work in a safe manner
• Participate in all company mandated training in good faith
• Come to work prepared (both mentally and materially) to work in a variety of environments (all seasons, indoors & outdoors)
• Have excellent knowledge of operations and processes as necessary to the position
• Complete appropriate forms legibly and clearly
• Perform computer functions as necessary to complete assigned paperwork
• Strap and Tally Lumber, Composite & or Poles
• Rehandle Lumber, Composite & or Poles
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain good housekeeping in all assigned areas
• Abide to OHSA (Occupational Health and Safety Act) workplace health and safety standards
• Report all Health & Safety issues immediately
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED

• Stand/walk for significant periods of time
