Job summary

Bunge Canada is seeking an Operator in Rexdale, Ontario, to safely and efficiently operate production processes. You will support receiving, processing, formulation, testing, and shipment while ensuring GMP, HACCP and safety standards.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this role works on a 12-hour continental shift (two weeks days, two weeks nights) and starts at an hourly rate of $28.00. You will unload materials, weigh tankers, load finished products, perform in-process quality tests, and

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in plant, manufacturing or production operations preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Forklift experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming raw materials from tankers, containers, and railcars.
• Weigh incoming and outgoing tankers and containers.
• Load finished products into tankers and LTL trucks.
• Receive and transfer in-process materials throughout the facility.
• Operate refinery, bleaching, and deodorizing equipment.
• Formulate products and manage crude oil tank inventories.
• Perform routine cleaning of processing equipment, cooling towers, vacuum lines, and related systems.
• Conduct in-process quality tests and collect product samples.
• Inspect tankers when laboratory personnel are unavailable.
• Maintain compliance with Health and Safety programs, GMP, HACCP, SOPs, and company procedures.
• Perform plant sanitation and housekeeping duties.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Perform other duties as required.

A Day in the Life
