Job summary

Bunge is seeking an Assistant Operator (replacement basin) for its Oilseed Processing facility in Becancour, QC. You will support loading/unloading, assist production in extraction/refinery tasks, and perform grain sampling.

The role requires grade 12 or equivalent, ability to work 12-hour shifts, and teamwork. Expect a safety-focused environment with training and benefits. Location is Becancour, Quebec.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Work experience in a facility is an asset.
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts (day and night).
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to use mobile equipment such as Forklift, wheel loader, shuttle wagon.
• Ability to work in environments with dust, chemicals, noise, heights, confined spaces, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to organize and prioritize activities to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Follows supervisor instructions and handles loading/unloading trucks and railcars.
• Assists the production department with preparation, extraction and refinery tasks.
• Performs grain sampling.
• Promotes a safe working environment and behavior.
• Identifies unsafe work environments and notifies supervisors.
• Monitors equipment with regular checks (TPM).
• Ensures good communication with team members.
• Assists supervisors and other team members.

WhatYou'llBe Doing:

• Follows instructions on responsibilities and daily expectations from supervisor and is assigned to loading and unloading trucks and railcars.
• Assists the production department in all tasks related to the preparation, extraction and refinery operations.
• Performs grain sampling.
• Promotes a safe working environment and behavior.
• Identifies unsafe work environments and practices and notifies supervisors.
• Performs housekeeping tasks and maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Monitors equipment by doing regular check routines (TPM).
• Ensures good communication with team members.
• Assists supervisors and other team members.

Skills/Experience Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Work experience in a facility (an asset)
• Ability to work on 12 hour shifts (day and night).
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to use mobile equipment such as Forklift, wheel loader, shuttle wagon.
• Ability to work in an environment with: Dust, chemicals, noise, working at heights, working in confined spaces, controlled and uncontrolled room temperature.
• Ability to organize and prioritize activities to meet deadlines.

• A premium of $2.50 applicable to all hours worked on the 12-hour shift schedule.
