Job summary

Amrize Canada Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to share accountability for safety, environment, customer service, performance, quality, HR, plant image and community relations at this site.

The role will maintain maintenance and production processes, manage stockpile inventories, plan budgets, forecast profitability and lead direct reports with a disciplined approach to execution, ensuring compliance with MNRF and Amrize guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Bachelors Degree; Engineering or Business field of study preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years proven operational and supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and track maintenance, production processes and strategies to achieve targeted OPIs.
• Drive group efficiencies, manage inventories and production performance through daily management and Q.C. collaboration.
• Manage stockpile inventories and assist in planning, driving and tracking financial performance.
• Develop, implement and manage annual repair budgets and perform financial analysis for cost reductions.
• Forecast profitability and production to optimize yield while balancing inventory and sales needs.
• Directly responsible for developing, motivating, and training direct reports to maximize performance.
• Ensure site compliance to MNRF and Amrize regulatory guidelines.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Production Manager will share accountability for safety, environment, customer service, performance, quality, human resources, plant image, and community relations in this site. The Production Manager will have direct accountability for specific functions in the Aggregates operation as assigned by the Plant Manager. The successful candidate must be organized and follow a disciplined approach towards execution.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

• Implement and track maintenance, production processes and strategies to achieve targeted Operational Performance Indicators (OPI’s).
• Employ daily communication process with management and Quality Control to drive group efficiencies, manage inventories and production performance.
• Management of stockpile inventories.
• Assist in planning, driving and tracking financial performance with local/regional tools.
• Develop, implement and manage annual repair budgets, perform financial analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Forecast profitability and production to optimize yield while supporting supply chain with balancing inventory and sales needs.
• Directly responsible for the individual development, motivation, and training of all direct reports to maximize their performance.
• Ensure site level compliance to Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) and all Amrize and Regulatory guidelines.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Education: High School Diploma or Bachelors Degree; Engineering or Business field of study preferred.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years proven operational and supervisory experience preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment(\"PPE\"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
