Job summary

Tolko Industries is seeking a Production Manager for our High Prairie OSB Division in High Prairie, Alberta. This role leads frontline teams to achieve safety, operational excellence, and strong results in a modern, large-scale wood-products facility.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage staffing and resources, and collaborate across operations and maintenance to reach targets. The position offers a competitive base salary and bonuses with relocation and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 diploma; post-secondary education in Engineering, Wood Sciences, Manufacturing, or related field is asset.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and safe work practices.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams.
  • Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in wood products or heavy industry.
  • Experience leading teams in a production setting.
  • Continuous manufacturing and continuous press experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and safe work practices.
