Saint-Gobain Napanee plant is hiring a Production Associate to support extrusion operations, ensuring safety, quality, and production targets. You will package materials, perform in-process tests, and document production activities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role emphasizes adherence to EHS policies, accurate record-keeping, and collaboration with the Extrusion Shift Supervisor to maintain efficient lines and continuous improvement efforts. Base pay starts at 22.73 CAD/hour.

Responsibilities

• Work in accordance with all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
• Report directly to the Extrusion Shift Supervisor.
• Package in-process materials and finished goods.
• Ensure all labels are correctly applied and contain required traceability information.
• Verify that finished profiles meet established product acceptance criteria and quality standards.
• Report process or product non-conformances to the Extrusion Shift Supervisor.
• Document all scrap generated during the shift.
• Assist with line start-ups, line monitoring, equipment set-ups, and focused improvement projects.
• Operate production equipment including: taping machine, embossing equipment, banding equipment, regrind equipment.
• Maintain department housekeeping standards and a clean work environment.

The plant in Napanee is hiring for a Production Associate. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturing team supporting the production of high-quality building products.

The Production Associate supports extrusion manufacturing operations by following all Environmental, Health, and Safety policies while ensuring products meet quality standards and production requirements. This role is responsible for packaging finished goods, conducting in-process testing and validation, monitoring product quality, documenting production activities, and operating various production equipment.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining efficient production operations, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring products meet customer expectations through adherence to established quality standards and procedures.
